AMP, bought her first property in 2022; a 90m2 ground-floor apartment, surrounded by a private garden, with a direct view of the neighborhood park, in the prestigious northern suburbs of Athens. Despite the building being already under construction, AMP commissioned us to reimagine and re-design the space with a refreshingly unconventional brief; to create a 'Living Showroom'.
This request paved the way for a high-end, natural luxury result that surpassed mere functionality, creating an environment that exuded sophistication and comfort in equal measure. AMP Residence is a project that epitomizes the power of challenging norms, while creating a dynamic living space that exceeds expectations. It's a testament to personalized design, reflecting individual needs, preferences, and lifestyle, resulting in a truly unique and vibrant home, while shunning the mundane and aspiring for an extraordinary everyday living.
Situated on the ground floor, with a surrounding garden and direct, unobstructed views of the neighborhood park, the property enjoys a unique advantage, though privacy concerns do arise. The primary focus was on enhancing the daily experience by seamlessly integrating the natural surroundings while setting privacy boundaries that didn't compromise the sense of openness. The strategic placement of openings, as well as the diverse window dressing choices, work as buffer zones on demand; either connecting or blocking - views & access - to the adjacent garden & park, ensuring a harmonious & comfortable connection between exterior & interior.
The playful juxtaposition extended into the bathroom, where a serene environment was curated with smooth surfaces and soft textures, punctuated by bursts of colorful vanities. The overarching theme of the house can be summed up as a fusion of minimalistic softness interrupted by moments of bold intensity, creating a dynamic and captivating living space that reflects the multifaceted nature of our client's personality.
